WHAT WE OFFER:
WHY AERIAL ADVERTISING:
With aerial advertising you can reach a very targeted and segmented population
and/or reach the masses. you can announce your message to zillions of
beach-goers, or any other open-air and outdoor audiences such as those attending
concerts, sports events, country fairs, parks, cruise ships, golf courses or those
stuck in a highway's rush hour traffic.
By utilizing airplane sign advertising
to fly your message, you get RESULTS effectively and economically, generating
numerous as well as targeted, high quality exposures. Surprisingly inexpensive, you
will find this ad medium very simple and direct offering some of the features
that no one single advertising medium offers altogether.
Please call us to discuss your target demographic, audiences and where and how to
best reach them with your air message.

Survey Results for Aerial Advertising: It is customary to quote the results of a survey done by the Maine State Lottery that compared Aerial advertising to other forms of advertising. It clearly showed aerial advertising as the best value - Aerial advertising had a 18.3% recall with only 6% of the budget; TV, radio, and billboards took up over 80% of the budget and had about the same or even less recall rate!
WHERE:
We started and learned to know the New York metro area. We still fly a lot from
Cape May in the south tip of New Jersey trough the Hamptons at the east end of
Long Island. But these days we can help (or at least, will try to help) in any
major (and minor) market nationwide - from California (mainly Los Angeles and
San Francisco metro areas), through Florida (Miami, Panama City etc) the North
East (Boston Metro) and most cities in between.
Our own backyard include the Hamptons', Fire Island, South Shore and North Shore
beaches of Long Island (Jones Beach, Robert Moses, Smith Point Park, etc), New York
City, New Jersey, Connecticut and Lower New York State. We hate to limit ourselves,
hence, are always open and ready to tailor a nation-wide campaign to your needs.

HOW WE DO IT? (some Technical Information):
PRICE:
Try to compare prices and effectiveness to road-side billboards, printed media
or to 60 seconds of radio or TV ad... Cheap!...
Flights rates depend on frequency and duration of the flights. We guarantee our
rates to be the lowest.
We used to quote flight time hourly rates, but it is very misleading because it
includes flight time to and from your target area. Please contact us with your
target areas, or with your thoughts about where your prospects are more likely to
be reached; we'll help you plan your routes of flight, and will work hard on
giving you the best deal.
We've learned to know the importance of repetition / saturation in advertising;
we'll help you by lowering the cost per flight starting with the second flight!
Please contact us for advice, best service and lowest prices.
There are 15 weekends (34 days including holidays) from Memorial Day through Labor
Day. "Half a season" constitutes on 16 flights. Weekday flights are recommended
no earlier than late June when the schools close for the summer. We double and triple-pass
individual important beaches or places you request along the route; thus, decreasing
the 'weight' of less populated stretches of beach). We will discuss with you, how
to best utilize the air-time you buy.
There is no additional cost (other than the flight cost) for assembling your
'standard' 5ft high letter-banner (unless special characters or an extra long banner
is involved). Additional characters may be added at $4 per letter per hour of flight.
Message wording changes are $15 to $40 depending on the extent of the change.
Custom-made aerial billboards involve a one-time production cost. When you compare,
not only the cost of display, but also the cost of production of our aerial flying
billboards to a static, road-side sign, you'll understand what we mean by the word
"cheap".
A computer generated and printed aerial billboard (including all hardware and
harnesses) will cost you around $2.5 per square foot. For example; a 20x50 ft air-sign,
which is 1,000 sq ft, will cost up to $2,500; a 30x75' billboard (2,250 square ft)
is maximum $5,625. Please call for your actual price.
CREATIVE Guidelines / Suggestions (for flying billboards):
| letters' height ( feet and inches) | distance for maximum impact | maximum readable distance |
| 1' (12") | 120' | 525' |
| 2' (24") | 240' | 1000' |
| 3' (36") | 360' | 1500' |
| 5' (60") | 600' | 2500' |
| 7' (84") | 840' | 3500' |
Based on the above chart, for Beach Flying Billboards, we recommend type size of 5'
high with a minimum of 3ft for legibility.
Your artwork must be furnished before production can begin.
For painted graphics, the furnished artwork should be camera ready and can be anything
printed or electronically recorded.
Artwork must be to-scale and a color scheme should be furnished showing the location of colors.
For a computer generated aerial billboard we can use most file formats.
Note that colors on
computer generated billboards will appear slightly faded due to the transparency of the
lightweight material used; please keep this in mind when selecting colors.
Please allow five to ten business days for completion.
